The number one reason to stage a home – it sells faster! Industry research finds that staged homes sell in half the time as non-staged homes, and for 6 percent over the asking price. Why? Potential buyers can visualize the function of each of the home’s living spaces and make a personal connection with the house.
Often that connection is made early in the process through internet searches. A National Association of Realtors survey estimates that 90% of potential home buyers now start their search for a new home online. Once a home has been staged, it will show better, photograph better, and display better across all digital media platforms such as social media, email blasts and websites.
Home staging has become one of the most successful tools for developers, builders, real estate agents and homeowners. They recognize that staging can help sell their property faster, increase their selling price and on average earn an 8 to 10% return on their staging investment.

Deb, a real estate investor, owner and principal designer of Staging By SquareOne, has completed numerous construction and design projects overseeing the process from beginning to end. Deb is also the Managing Member and Founder of SquareOne Properties, LLC, where she invests in real estate projects that benefit from a major remodel and/or redesign.
Her love for design began when she moved to San Francisco, post-college, and lived and worked there for decades, always in awe of the creative surroundings. Deb had a successful career in leading the global event and communication teams for a Wall Street firm which allowed her to travel the world’s most remarkable cities.
As a marketing and event professional, Deb was required to communicate messages and brand through environmental and visual design. She learned to seamlessly integrate the structural and architectural features of a venue through design elements (furniture, color, light, space). Her vision reached far beyond design with a focus on the strategy and outcome.
Deb has a proven extraordinary eye for beauty and can transform any space into something desirable.
